“I have been taking my fur babies here since 1992. Can’t even imagine taking them anywhere else.”

James Bolles, DVM
Veterinarian
I became a veterinarian in 1993 when I graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to this, I received my BS in Animal Science from Middle Tennessee State University. I’m a native Nashvillian and have worked in Nashville, TN, for most of my career, but I currently live in Franklin with my canine little buddy, Sophie.
As a veterinarian, I have made a strong effort to educate people about their pet’s healthcare so that they may better care for them. I really enjoy getting to know pet parents and interacting with their pets. My interest is in canine and feline internal medicine.
Away from work, I enjoy spending time with Sophie, getting outside and working in my yard and flower garden, studying the Bible, and being a member of the Southern Hills Church of Christ in Franklin.

Receptionist & Social Media Coordinator
I have loved animals my whole life. We lived on a road where people would drop animals and I would bring them all home. I have worked in vet med for almost 15 years I can’t stand to see sick animals untreated. I got into this field to see animals taken care of and to be a part of that. I love to spend time with my family, especially my 2 grandchildren who are the loves of my life. I have 3 pets: a 13 year old Pekingese, 12 year old cat, and a 3 year old terrier mix.

Michelle N.
Veterinary Assistant
Animals are such agreeable friends, they ask no questions but love you when you’re sad or happy. I have worked in the veterinary industry for 15 years. This job provides you with opportunities to spend time with animals when you have none at home. When I am not in the office, I can be found reading, baking, exploring, and being outside. Performing dentals are my favorite. I am a mother of 3 boys.

Felix
Felix lived with us at the clinic for almost 20 years. We worked for him as he ran the place. He was something to behold in his younger years and grew into a spoiled old man. His favorite thing was to lay on a heating pad in the practice manager’s office. He was the king of the clinic, and we all loved him so much.

Lilly
Lilly came to us later in life, but we loved every year she was with us. She did not like to be picked up, but she loved getting attention and love. She would sit on the counter in the reception area and wait for you to love on her as your paper was printing out. She was such a sweet angel.

Simon
Simon lived with us at the clinic for almost 17 years. He was such a sweet boy and loved to sit on the back of the chairs in the reception area. He loved to play and could jump higher than any cat we have ever seen. His personality made everyone fall in love with him.

Ozzie
Clinic Cat
Ozzie is easily the most lovable cat you will ever meet but a sighting of him is rare. He prefers to spend his time in the back of the clinic stretched out on tables waiting for someone to pet him. If you walk past him without showing him some love he will reach out and grab you, demanding cuddles. If it’s a quiet day you may catch a glimpse of him venturing out, especially if his pal Jessica is working the front desk.
