Pet Physical Examinations

A pet physical exam is a comprehensive examination of your pet by a veterinarian. It is recommended that pet physical exams be performed at least once a year for dogs and cats, and more frequently for senior pets or pets with health problems. The pet physical exam will assess your pet’s overall health, including their weight, temperature, heart rate, and respiratory rate. Our veterinarian will also check your pet’s eyes, ears, skin, and coat. During the pet physical exam, the veterinarian will also ask you about your pet’s diet, exercise habits, and any changes in their behavior or appearance that you have noticed. Pet physical exams are an important part of preventative health care for your pet. They allow the veterinarian to identify potential health problems early and provide you with information on how to best care for your pet.
